Seltzer Water
I really enjoy seltzer water. It is a known fact. I am always drinking it. The best brand of seltzer is polar. I really enjoy the pomegranate flavor. It is really good. I am currently drinking the lemon lime seltzer. I always buy it in the cans cause it taste better to me. I don't know why. I love when there are new flavors even though I usually hate them all. That is seltzer for me in a nut shell.

Gatorade
I do not like gatorade. Gatorade does not taste good to me. It would be the last thing I would ever want to drink in the world. Gatorade tastes like nasty watered down juice and no one likes watery juices. I do not need more electrolytes I am fine with out it. Plus gatorade isn't really that good for you it has a ton of sodium in it
Worlds Best Boss
My favorite Mug to drink out is my World Best Boss mug. This is from the series The Office. I love drinking out of this mug cause it is funny and ironic. I love the show The Office. Michael Scott bought the mug for himself as a self loathing boss. I really only drink tea out of this mug, such as earl grey, green tea or a peach flavored tea. Peach flavored teas are some of my favorite.

Regis Phlbin's favorite drink
Every morning on Live with Regis and Kelly, Regis would drink Cranberry juice & water in the mugs, and chocolate soy milk. I do not know why he would choose to drink all of these beverages but I would like to think it is for the reason that Regis is a very sweaty man and needs to constantly stay hydrated. I believe the water will cause Regis to become hydrated, the cranberry juice is a diarrhetic so it is good for you, and the chocolate soy milk is so Regis can maintain his mainly figure. These are just thoughts nothing is fact. God Bless Philbin
Using Jotform
Jotforms is a pretty simple website which helps you to create forms to put on a website. I am using my form to obtain feedback from viewers of my page. The really cool thing about jotfrom is that you can take the code you build and embed it on your website. I really enjoy the feature that emails will be sent to you from jot form.com when you get feedback from viewers. Jotform makes life easier for web developers in which you can format at really nice looking template and use it for your website with just basic clicking. You can do this without knowing how to do much. You can do this be draging and dropping things and it looks perfect. I haven't responses on my jotform. I hope it is positive.

Goodbye NYC
Now up to this it looks like we had a lot of play but no work. We had gone to a lot of panel and we took away a ton of information from these and basically having a mini directors meeting every day. Even in the line for SNL all we talked about was music and the station. Every meal even if it was at a little cart on 42nd street we were talking about how we can make this a better station. You the fans of WUML will definitely see a change in production value with a lot of the new stuff we are going to be unleashing soon. We hope to be announcing some pretty awesome stuff that will put us right in line with the best radio stations across the globe. We want to reveal all our plans right now but what fun is that you got to check out our website here for more info in the future.
We were really tired after SNL the night before so we woke up late to our housekeeper basically kicking us out of our hotel. We packed our stuff and went up town to the M&M store and the hershey store. We walked to NBC store and got some cool stuff. The best part of the day was going to F.A.O Shwartz and dancing on the keyboard from big.
We rushed back to catch our bus for 6:30 made it on and passed out. It was a great weekend. Thanks for reading this if you have. Tune in whenever you want we got some really cool stuff going on at WUML. You will now be going to your usual broadcast of blogs about drinks and other stuff.
Live from NYC its waiting in line!
Some of us slept for a couple of hours some of us didn't as 3:30 am rolled upon us to wake up to wait in line at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. We rolled up to 30 Rock and we were about the 120th persons in line.
People had been in line since Friday morning at 6am. So how it works you wait in line for standby tickets for if season ticket holders to not show up or some of the reserved tickets. You can choose rehearsal show which is a dress rehearsal and longer than the actual show and has more skits. We chose "live". You show up at 10:30 on Saturday and they chose as many people as they can take. Our chief engineer Kyle was the last person to be admitted.
Kevin Hart was the host for this week SNL. It was an awesome show. Just to see the production value of SNL was unreal everything that goes into the show is amazing. Macklemore also performed.
Going to SNL was one of the best experiences we were able to take away from the whole thing. Tomorrow would be our last day in NYC which sucked.

CBS studios and going live on Air Over NYC
Last night after going to some panels and getting some knowledge to bring back to our station. People were selected to go to CBS Radio studio and tour the studio. CBS studio is located in the Hudson Square Section of Manhattan. It was an awesome opportunity to see how a commercial channel was operated by real DJ's who loved college radio when they did it. One of the most amazing experience was Matt Denaro one of the General Managers was able to go live on air with Host Joe Causi who is currently number one in ratings in NYC.
After leaving all the members got some sleep and got ready to stand in line to get tickets to Saturday Night Live.
Day 1 NYC.
Go to bed with WUML. After a late night and exploring NYC we went to bed around 3am. We went to dinner with our faculty advisor El Tigre. In down town Manhattan, the live music there consisted of covers of Nickleback and Black Sabbath. When walking down the heavily congested streets of NYC all we heard was "You want gyro?! 7 dollars fifty!". We are going to the conference going today so we will post some pictures. In the words of Beyonce. "Can you pay my Bills? Can you pay my telephone bills? Do you pay my automo' bills?
I went to NYC for the weekend
Today, we left Lowell for New York City at 12:00pm for our bus at 2pm at South Station. We had a pretty rad guy check us in at Gate 9 in South Station. This awesome man from Nepal checked us in and got us on our way.
We were on the road for about an hour with a nice lady from NYC who recored a promo for us. We broke down on I-90 in Framingham. We made it to NYC at 8pm. Check out our next blog later tonight.

Water
Water, the most essential drink in the world and the most versatile drink in the world. Every drink that you consume has some amount of water in it. You can usually tell a good restaurant by the quality of the water at a restaurant. I go to an amazing Thai restaurant in Beverly Mass called Siam Delight, the food is amazing but the water is even better. I can always be guaranteed a nice cold glass of h20 there. No lemon or lime added just pure cold water. The finest water I have ever had. That is my philosophy on restaurants if you have good water your restaurant must rule.
Whiskey!! Whiskey!! Quiskey!!!
This week I will talk about my favorite Spirit Whiskey. The Earliest record of Whiskey dates back to around 1405 in Ireland. The word whiskey comes from the Gaelic phrase "uisge", uisge is short for uisge beatha which translates to"water of life". Whiskey is a pretty versatile sprite it can be drank on its own, such as having it neat (no ice) or with ice. Whiskey can be mixed with Cola or with Ginger Beer. My favorite way to drink Whiskey is with Cola. I have recently been enjoying Jack Daniels with Honey it is a great beverage and has a sweet taste to Whiskey. There is nothing more relaxing then having a nice glass of Whiskey after a long day it relaxes you.

Communication Of Internet!
The impact that the internet has had on society and the way we communcate with each other is drastic. When thinking of work and how I correspond with managers and requesting time it is through an email not a face to face interaction. The way i communicate with my parents is through text I rarely call them it is more convient to text. Texting is a more informal way of comunication. But in the same sense the internet puts us in better contact with our family members. I think about the conversations I've had on skype with famiy members across the country. I can look to the room accross from me and see my roomate from Vietnam talking to his family who is celebrating the Lunar New Year in Vietnam. It is amazing to see that. When at work I am more apt to sending a passive agresive email than say a comment to someone. An email is something I view as very informal. It is funny to see the amount of people who get in trouble with things that they post to facebook and twitter. Politcians being forced to resign or explain situations that they have to explain. This takes away from the route of many issues that could be solved. Instead they get more media presence if they said a contreversal tweet than a good point or arguement that could alter our country.

Chocolate Milk
In my humble opinion there is no greater pleasure than enjoying a cold glass of chocolate milk. It is something when I'm in a bad mood can instantly cheer me up. It is something I drank a lot as child. My fondest memory of chocolate milk was having a Nestle Mug which had a motor in it which would stir the chocolate milk. I now am no longer as addicted to chocolate milk as I was in the past. I have substituted the chocolate milk for Almond and Coconut Milk with chocolate syrup. It taste like a liquid mounds bar which is one of my favorite candies. I don't have chocolate milk as much as I would like to but when I do it is an incredible experience for me and brings me back to my childhood.

Effects of Media on the Internet.
When I think about the effects the internet has on media and the way society receives news I think to the day where I really saw first hand the way news spreads. Think of a date May 2nd 2011. This was a pretty normal day and when reading the date above many might say I have no clue what happened on said day. Let me tell you. It was the day Osama Bin Laden was killed. I found out of this news via Facebook and Reddit, not CNN, not MSNBC, or a local source of news. I began to search the web to find my own news about the event that happened not the sources above. We live in a age of instant gratification and the internet is the perfect source for that. The internet is an open source of media you can read about a story similarly to a newspaper or watch a news story similarly to the television the fact that you can have that all on a 13in screen is amazing. This does have its negative effects. Newspapers across the country are going exclusively online losing printing jobs for employees to cut costs. Radio stations are becoming more and more prevalent because expensive FCC licenses and fines do not apply to these source. When thinking more into radio, you don't turn into the radio to hear new artists you find them online on sources like band camp, tumblr or various blogs. People are not listening to the radio as much in the car turning to there smartphone to listen to music which was downloaded on the internet or pandora or spotify. In closing while the internet is a great source it has ultimately closed a lot of jobs for great industries in the past.

Beer!
Over the last week I was able to taste one of the best beers I've had in a long time. This beer was suggested to me by the Nashua Beer Store clerk Pouchon. This beer is an American Double and an Imperial IPA. IPA's are my favorite style of beer, to me IPA's have a ton of flavor and everyone has amazing qualities to it that set them apart from other styles of beer. The reason I was so fond of Resin produced by Sixpoint Brewery in Brooklyn New York was that it literally sent my taste buds into overload with all the different flavors which emerged from every drink. Some facts about Resin it is 9.10 ABV which is rather strong for beer. It is produced in a can so light will not effect the beers color or flavor. You can find this beer only at the Nashua Beer Store. It is a great place to get any type of beer or find a new favorite.

Impact of The Internet on Society
The impact of the Internet on society is a rather large one. We have gone from a nation who has gone from getting all media from the television, radio, and newspapers, to a nation who will primarily get most information from the internet. In a day I will gain most of my information from either a blog website or just from looking at CNN on the internet. When watching TV everything is immersed in social networking, if you watch a sporting event the commentators have next the name @..... refering to a twitter handle. Even advertisements will refer you to a website. On campus being part of the radio station I first hand have discovered the key to more listeners is to have a presence in social media and have a great website. The majority of music that I will discover comes from the internet. Think you can find a band across the world with just using the internet. When you go to a restaurant you will most likely see couples not talking with each other but down in there phones surfing the web or texting. The internet is a great tool but it has its downsides. It has negative effects on society such as developing a who market of illegal activity and a generation who has poor social skills.

About Me.
Hey, I'm Matt Denaro. Welcome to my blog, here I'm going to tell you about myself. I am an Electrical Engineering Major here at UML. One of the best experiences I've had here at school is being part of the Campus Radio Station WUML 91.5. For the last 3 years I've been heavily involved with the day to day operations of the radio station. I am currently the co-host of Mixtape Science a hodgepodge show playing the best underground music around the world. My proudest moment at WUML is being part of the 60 Year Anniversary dinner which was put on in October and having close to 250 alumni come and celebrate with us. My best friend is Steve Lacourciere who met freshman year in Leitch Hall, here on campus. We became friends because he would spend all his time in my quad and always expell great wisdom upon all of us. I currently work for Apple and have been for about two years. It is a great place to work and enrich lives with great technology. I am addicted to going to a local taqueria in Salem Ma, I host an event called Tuesday night taco's where you get two dollar tacos.I am always interested in trying different foods my favorite food is Cambodian Dishes and Sushi. When I'm not working at the radio, apple or school, I rebuild antique cars with my father, we are currently restoring an 1978 MGB, I've learned to weld and fabricate in the process of the car. We hope for the car to be done around summer time. Well this is me in a nut shell. Enjoy!
